Palio horse race!

Il Palio is without a doubt, one of the most exciting horse races in the world! Ten mixed breed horses, representing different areas, gallop full speed around the city square and the riders are bareback! Check out a short video of the race here. Get some less risky riding in of your own, on the nearby Chianti Country Ride. We can organize special dates so you can enjoy the festivities of Il Palio!
